work'n on the farm w/uncle Glen

I remember my teenage years working on Uncle Glen's farm during my summer vacation(?). Riding to the farm in his old International pickup truck SO early in the cold mornings every day with him smoking, laughing & kidding with me! He told me: "I hear you like to drive tractors?" "well, we'll see if you feel the same after this summer!" Boy did I ever! He put me on one of his beloved Allis-Chalmers tractor's for many hours a day on those huge sprawling fields row after row after row, day after day, after day! I got to learn what it was like to be a farmer on Uncle Glen's farm! Uncle Glen taught me many things about farm life. (especially to stay away from BIG tractor wheels!) He and Aunt Pat treated me well making sure I had a place to sleep, & got plenty to eat. I'll never forget Uncle Glen & his sense of sarcastic humor! But I always knew he & Aunt Pat cared about me. I love & miss him, (& Aunt Pat) and pray he rests in peace.
