Condolences

Condolence From: Bobbi Jo Behler
Condolence: I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to Lila and the rest of Ray's family. He was a very dedicated husband, father, grandfather, friend and veteran. Everything he accomplished in life was done with complete devotion. He was a very proud man. Getting to know him was an honor. He and Lila were there for me when I lost my husband almost 9 years ago delivering countless hours of pep talks. It was during this time I learned about Ray's education, his love for his first wife Erma Jean, his military career and his love and devotion for his high school sweetheart Lila. My husband always said he could listen to Ray for hours because he was amazing and so interesting. One of my favorite stories was his deer hunting story in the hills of Virginia, I believe. He said by the time he got finished dragging his deer home he had drug the legs off of it! And I know that was not an exaggeration! That wasn't Ray's way. I could go on and on with family stories he told me about Lila, his daughters and his grandkids. As I write this through tears, I just want to say that you were always a "Ray" of sunshine and you will be missed and remembered by many. Goodbye my friend. God bless you and your family. Thank you for your service to our country. Rock Chalk Jayhawks! And please give Justin a hug for me! R.I.P.Ray Anslinger❤

Condolence: Dear Anslinger family, please accept my deepest sympathies. I am very sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death can leave us with feelings of sorrow and grief. But there is a beautiful hope we can look forward to. Isaiah 25:8 says, "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces." So not only will Almighty God eliminate death, but he will remove the feelings of sadness that come from losing someone we love, and replace those feelings with comfort and hope.
