Obituary for James Michael "Peaches" Piper

James Michael “Peaches” Piper, 34, of Lancaster, KS, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018.

The family will be having a celebration of life remembrance gathering on Sunday, October 21, 2018, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lancaster Community Building. Memorials in honor of Peaches are suggested to American Cancer Society or Helping Hands for the Holidays and may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, who is handling the arrangements. Peaches was born on July 29, 1984 in Atchison, KS the son of William and Barbara (Morris) Piper. He worked for Northern Pipe Line as a heavy equipment operator, Union101. Peaches was a member of First Christian Church, and earned the Life Rank in Boy Scouts. He enjoyed race cars, fishing, shooting blue rock and doing body work on cars. Peaches especially enjoyed just hanging out.

Survivors include his parents, Bill and Barb Piper, Lancaster, KS, a brother, Brian Piper, Atchison, KS, a sister, Rebecca Worley, Lancaster, KS, nieces and nephews, Austin and Ashlyn Piper, Matthew, Danica and Kimber Worley.
