Isabelle E. Willmeth, 92, of Atchison, KS died on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the Atchison Senior Village.

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm on Monday, July 9th, 2018 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph Hansen , Pastor of the Carol Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens, Atchison KS. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday, July 8th, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Carol Baptist Church and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Condolences to the family may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com.

Isabelle E. Graves was born on March 29, 1926 in Atchison, KS the daughter of Willis and Bertha (Kelsay) Graves. She graduated from Atchison High School in 1943. She worked as a cook for the Franklin Grade School, then as head clerk for the former Safeway Grocery Store, and was a homemaker and housewife.
Mrs. Willmeth was a charter member of the Carol Baptist Church where she was an active member, serving as a Sunday School Teacher for over 50 years, and was the Mission Treasurer for many years. She was a Cub Scout Leader, Den Mother, and Pack Leader for Pack #54 and a former member of the Christian Women’s Association. Mrs. Willmeth enjoyed crocheting, canning and traveling.

She was married to Warren L. Willmeth on May 19, 1949 at Carol Baptist Church. Mr. Willmeth preceded her in death on Dec. 14, 1993. Survivors include three sons, Warren (Joan) Willmeth, Rolling Meadows, Ill, Wayne Willmeth, Kansas City, KS and Willis “Willie” (Patty) Willmeth, Leavenworth, KS, two sisters, Mary Ann Brewer, and Minnie Graves, both of Atchison, KS, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her parents and husband preceded her in death.
