Condolence: I wanted to send my love and sympathies to the Jackson family. I know the Anniversary of your dear loved one, Dan, is approaching. No doubt this has brought back to mind some emotional thoughts and feelings of sadness, but hopefully you're able to reflect on the good memories you've had as well. Keep in mind that beautiful promise found in God's Word, at John 5:28,29, which says, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." What this can mean for you is a real hope of being reunited with your loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. So as you reflect on the times spent with Dan, keep this comforting thought in mind for the days ahead. There will soon be a time when we'll not only be able to welcome our loved ones back to life, but we can truly experience the words "death will be no more." (Revelation 21:4) My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Condolence: I was very sorry to hear about Uncle Dan. I would like to express my condolences to Aunt Carolyn and her family, to Dan's adopted family the Dewares, and to all who were touched by him. Dan was a very special person and he will be missed by many.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Jackson. He was one of my favorite teachers while I was at Atchison High. He made English and writing fun and interesting at the same time, I learned so much about more than just English from his classes. He will be missed. Laura Coyle

Condolence: He was my English teacher in high school. I went to boarding school Maur Hill Prep School in Atchison, KS. He was my mentor for 25 years. To me he, was like my grandfather. I would not be the person that I am with out him. I know that now he is in better place. I thank God that he was part of my life. I will miss talking to him. That is why I enjoy volunteering and helping the youth.

Condolence: I am deeply saddened for the loss we all share of a great man, and teacher to many. I would be understated in saying that Mr. Jackson challenged us all, pushed many, like myself, forward despite our faults. Through his classes I truly learned focus and the value of thought. He was more than a favorite teacher. Dan Jackson was a friend, and he will truly be missed.

Condolence: I only lived in Kansas my senior year of high school at Maur hill. I was lucky enough to have Mr. Dan Jackson as my English teacher and he was one of the best teachers I've ever had. I struggled at first in his class, so he pulled me aside and gave me the most encouraging speech that changed how I perceived schooling and life in general. I will never forget him and my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

Condolence: Dan Jackson was my favorite teacher in high school at Maur Hill and also a great friend. His wit and humor could never be replaced nor duplicated. Dan inspired me in so many ways and helped develop me into the individual that I have become as an adult. My deepest of condolences to his family and loved ones. We have lost such a wonderful human being but gained such an amazing angel to watch over us now.
