The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kenneth Reichle can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Kenny

Some of the best memories of my life are meeting and working in the blue grass fields wilth Kenny during the summers of 55 and 56. We became good friends. I remember telling Kenny I knew a swell girl I just knew he would like. That evening we double dated to a movie and as far as I know Kenny and Sue have been together ever since and that makes me feel kind of proud.

And then there was that cold day in January, Kenny was taking a day off from the chicken place and I had figured out that I wasn't quite ready for Kansas State. Over a bowl of chili at Fedderson's Pool Hall, after much serious conversation, we decided to walk up to the post office and join Air Force. At the Post Offilce we were confronted with the fact that it was Navy Day. We joined the U.S. Navy.

I really didn't know Kenny that many years, but those couple of years were so good, he was such a good friend and compamion, I think about him a lot and I feel like I've know him forever.
