Julie Ann (Hiner) Christian, 67, of Atchison KS, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at her home being loved by her husband and three daughters.

There will be a private family service and burial. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Ladies Aid Hall of Sugar Creek Christian Church that may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home who is handling the arrangements. Julie was born in Hutchinson, Kansas on March 25, 1951, the daughter of Edward and Mayme (Daniel) Hiner. Julie was a graduate of Atchison High School in 1970. She attained her cosmetology license in St Joseph, Missouri in 1971. She was a cosmetologist her whole adult life. She retired in 2015. Julie married her best friend and true love, James L. Christian on December 16, 1971. Her second loves were her three daughters, Shelley, Jamie Ann and Lacey. She had a love for her girls like no other. Julie enjoyed gardening and was always busy crafting, but spending time with her family is when she was the happiest.

Survivors include her husband Jim of 46 years, three daughters, Shelley (Jeff) Robertson, Whitehouse, Texas, Jamie Ann (Mariano) Gomez, Atchison, Kansas and Lacey (Alex) Adair of Kansas City, Missouri, Grandchildren, Morgan and Brady Robertson, Whitehouse, Tx, and Maya and Isabella Gomez, Atchison, Ks. Her beloved poodle, Chevy and her rescued cat, Kit-kat, will miss her dearly. Also her grand-dogs, Pippa, Simba and Bubba.
