Jeffrey A. Smith, 56 of Atchison died March 13, 2018 as a result of an automobile accident on Hwy 59 south of St Joseph, Mo.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday March 17, 2018 at the Becker Dyer Stanton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home. The body has been cremated. Memorial contributions are suggested to help with final expenses and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Condolences to the family may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com.
Jeffrey was born on October 11, 1961 the son of Thomas and Barbara (Faiers) Smith. Jeffrey graduated Atchison High School in 1981. He served in the United States Army. Mr. Smith worked on the assembly line at Kawasaki Manufacturing in Maryville, Mo. Jeffrey enjoyed playing video games, tinkering around the house, and most of all spending time with his family and dog.
Jeffrey was engaged to Jewel Smith, and she survives of the home. Additional survivors include his mother Barbara Smith of Atchison, brother Thomas E. (Tina) Smith of Atchison, sister Angel Porter of Atchison, several nieces and nephews. His father, brother in law EJ Porter preceded him in death
