The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Donald Trimble can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Jeanette R. Apton

My sister in Maryland sent me Donald's obituary. I, too. attended , the little red brick schoolhouse south of Humboldt, Kinter School, District 40, or 41. Donald was in 8th grade, I was about 8 years old.. I remember when we were sitting on the steps together on the east side of the building. He asked me to marry him! What a thrill for a young girl. He was always a handsome male. The holiday season is a good time for refreshing old memories. Sincerely , Jeanette Cander Whitney Apton. PS. The old school house is still standing and is used for storage. Would you like to have a picture of it? Also. John Allen Trimble was the only other person in my grade school class. That is why I can tolerate hyperactive children
