Janice Carol Bennett, 78 formerly of Nortonville, KS, passed away Sunday, September 03, 2017 at Utah Valley Hospital, Provo, Utah.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Becker Chapel, Effingham, KS with Dr. Greg Waller officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Effingham, KS. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church. Memorials are suggested to Calvary Baptist Church, Valley Falls, KS or American Heart Association and may be sent in care of the Becker- Dyer-Stanton & O’Trimble Funeral Home. Janice was born on January 13, 1939 in Waterloo, IA, the daughter of Raymond and Vivian (Broessel) Beasley. She was a homemaker. Janice was a member of First Baptist Church, Nephi,UT. She enjoyed cross-stitch and embroidery. Janice was also a hospice volunteer and held bible studies in care homes.

Janice married F.W. “Bill” Bennett on August 29, 1959, he survives of the home. Additional survivors include one son; Brad and Brenda Bennett, Broken Arrow, OK, granddaughters Ainsley Hallett (Jesse) Tulsa, OK, Amitey Bennett, Broken Arrow, grandson Chaney Rockwell of Youngwood,PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter; Virginia Rockwell.
