Condolence From: Brittany
Condolence: I wanted to send my love and sympathies to the Potts family. I know the Anniversary of your dear loved one, Thomas, is approaching. No doubt this has brought back to mind some painful feelings and sadness, but hopefully you're able to reflect on the good memories as well. Keep in mind that beautiful promise found in God's Word, at John 5:28,29. It says, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." What this can mean for you is a real hope of being reunited with your loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. So as you reflect on the times spent with your dear loved one, keep this comforting thought in mind for the days ahead. There will soon be a time when we'll not only be able to welcome our loved ones back to life, but we can truly experience the words "death will be no more." (Revelation 21:4) My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Condolence From: Trudy Nowell
Condolence: Dear Potts family, I am so sorry to have read of the recent death of your loved one Thomas. Please accept my most sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be very comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:3-5. These verses tell us the soon Jehovah God through his son Christ Jesus is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones, as well as do away with all the causes we have for suffering including sickness and death. Knowing this has always comforted me when I've lost loved ones and it is my hope that these thoughts will likewise comfort your family also during this most difficult time in your lives. If you would like to read these Scriptures online for free or find more comforting thoughts, please visit jw.org Please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss.

Condolence: Dear Potts family, you all have my sympathy. I am so sorry for your loss. The death of a loved one causes us deep pain. At Jeremiah 31:13, Almighty God has promised, "I will change their mourning into exultation. I will comfort them and give them joy instead of their grief." No doubt you look forward to the fulfillment of that promise. Until then, you can fully rely on "the God of tender mercies and the God of all comfort" to give you the strength and endurance to cope during this difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3)
