Carolyn Lindsay, 76 of Cummings, KS, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at F.W. Huston Senior Living Center, Winchester, KS.

Graveside service and burial will 2:00 PM Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Nortonville, KS, with Rev. Larry Buss officiating. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association and may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison, KS, who is handling the arrangements. Carolyn was born on March 22, 1941 in Cummings, KS the daughter of Harry and Glenna (Greer) Kaighin. She was a housewife. Carolyn was a member of the Methodist Church, Cummings, KS. She enjoyed sewing, decorating and organizing the multitude of homes she had to set up for the family around the world. Her greatest joy was helping others and spending time making her children and grandchildren lives enriched beyond measure

Carolyn married Richard John Lindsay in 1956. He preceded her in death on September 20, 2005. Survivors include two sons, Gary and Janet Lindsay, Columbia, IL and David and Carla Lindsay, Cummings, KS, five grandchildren, Tina, Kelly, Heather, Trevor and Dawson Lindsay.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother Buddy Kaighin.
