The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Leander Wessel can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Brittany
Condolence: I want to send my love and sympathies to the Wessel family. I'm very sorry for your loss. It's no way to really describe the pain one feels when death overtakes a loved one. Feelings of sadness and grief can be overwhelming during this time of mourning. However, comfort from the scriptures can give you hope. John 5:28, 29 speaks of the promise of the resurrection. That scripture says, "Do not be amazed at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." What this can mean for your family is a real hope of being reunited with your dear loved ones.

Condolence: I wanted to send my love and condolences to the Leander family. I'm very sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death is a devastating experience that leaves us with feelings of sorrow and grief. However, know that God is going to replace your sadness with joy, and a hope for the future. How? Isaiah 25:8 says, "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe the tears from all faces." So here Jehovah God has promised that He will eliminate death forever, wiping away the tears that come from losing the ones we love. Furthermore, God has given us the hope of the resurrection, which can mean being reunited with our dead loved ones, once again on a Paradise earth. (John 5:28,29; Revelation 21:4)
