Carol Sue Willming, 72, of Bonner Springs, KS, formerly of St. Louis, MO, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 at her home.

A Private Service will be 10:00 AM, Sunday, December 18, 2016, at Round Mound Cemetery, Cummings, KS. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society and may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, who is handling the arrangements. Carol was born on October 17, 1944, in Atchison, KS, the daughter of Donald and Virginia (Kasten) Thompson. She was of the Jewish faith and a member of the United Hebrew Temple in Chesterfield, MO. Carol was a land developer for twenty years. She enjoyed playing tennis. Carols passion was traveling and family.

Carol married Paul Kaplan on October 11, 1999; he preceded her in death on March 16, 2001. Survivors include a son, Don Willming, Basehor, KS, a brother; Donald Thompson, Jr., Little Rock, AR, a sister; Sharon Gibson, Atchison, KS, two granddaughters; Macayla and Alexus-Sue Willming, Basehor, KS

She was also preceded in death by her parents and a son Mel Willming and a sister, Patty Chappel.
