Ana Maria (De Barros) Weinmann, 35, Atchison, KS passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 13, 2016 at her home.

Memorial service will be 12:00 PM Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison, with Rev. Ken Watkins, officiating. Burial will follow at Wolf River Cemetery, Everest, KS. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to help defray funeral cost and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.beckerdyer.com.

Ana was born on September 26, 1981 in Caracas, Venezuela, the daughter of Jose and Maria (Gracaabreu) De Barros. She graduated from Mount Saint Scholastica Academy in 2000. Ana worked as a nurse’s aide at Atchison Senior Village and Medicalodge of Atchison, KS. She aspired to become a nurse. Ana’s favorite artists are The Beatles, David Bowie, and Def Leppard, going to concerts and traveling. She especially loved spending time with family. Ana’s philosophy was “You seriously have no idea what people are dealing with in their personal life so just be nice, it’s that simple”.

Ana married Alvin Bowen, they later divorced. She married Eric Weinmann on June 15, 2012. He survives of the home. Survivors include two sons; Alvin Bowen, Jr., Cristofer Bowen, Atchison, KS, a daughter, Mariana Bowen, Atchison, KS, her parents; Jose and Maria De Barros, two brothers; Mario (Lily) De Barros, Miami, FL, Jesus (Margeli) De Barros, Miami FL, a sister; Maria De Barros and fiancé Robert Zorn, Miami, FL, two nieces; Lily, Sophia De Barros, nephew Gabriel De Barros.
