Saundra Elaine Hartman, 72, of Nortonville, KS died Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Village Villa Nursing Home, Nortonville, KS.

Graveside services and burial will be 2:00 pm on Friday, November 18th, 2016 at Mt. Vernon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 17th, 2016 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Cummings Christian Church and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Condolences to the family may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com.

Saundra was born on May 19, 1944 in Burlington, IA the daughter of Kenneth L. and Velma M. (Garrison) Hartman. Saundra had worked several different places for a short time but for most of her life was a housewife, mom, and homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, sewing, genealogy, being outside in nature and watching wildlife. She especially enjoyed her children and grandchildren.

She was married to Joseph Morgan Grider on January 5, 1968 in Atchison, KS. They were later divorced. Survivors include three sons, Billy Jack Grider, Amarillo, TX, Gary Grider, Leawood, KS, Brent Grider-Osborn, Westwood, KS, three daughters, Kathy Grider, Laurel Hill, NC, Jody Zollman, Topeka, KS, and Stacy Garcia, Abilene, TX, a sister, Pamela Roudebush, Lancaster, KS, nineteen grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. Her parents, two daughters, Stephanie Ann Grider and Maria Grider Mount preceded her in death.
