The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Bessie Smart can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Brittany
Condolence: I wanted to send my love and sympathies to the Smart family. I know the Anniversary of your dear loved one, Bessie, is approaching. No doubt this has brought back to mind some painful feelings and sadness, but hopefully you're able to reflect on the good memories as well. Keep in mind that beautiful promise found in God's Word, at John 5:28,29. It says, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." What this can mean for you is a real hope of being reunited with your loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. So as you reflect on the times spent with your dear loved one, keep this comforting thought in mind for the days ahead. There will soon be a time when we'll not only be able to welcome our loved ones back to life, but we can truly experience the words "death will be no more." (Revelation 21:4) My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Condolence From: Brittany
Condolence: I wanted to send my love and condolences to the Smart family. I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death is a devastating experience. But Almighty God has a solution to the sadness and pain we feel when we lose a loved one in death. At 2 Corinthians 1:3,4, it says, "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." Jehovah will provide us confort through prayer and through his Word, the Bible.

Condolence From: Don and Sally Chew
Condolence: Kenny, Gary, and families: we are saddened to hear of the passing of your Mom. What a great life! As we shared the same birthday she always took me to play golf at Pineview on our birthday. Many fond memories of her and your Dad as our parents played a lot of cards together through the years. In recent years we enjoyed many a visit with her during the time my mom was at Vintage Park - she was always playing cards! You are in our thougts and prayers.
