Scott Theodore Jamison, 54, of Atchison, KS died Sunday, August 14, 2016 at his apartment in Mall Towers.

Memorial services will be 7:30 pm on Friday, August 19th, 2016 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Ziegler officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:30 pm Friday until time of service at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Atchison Community Clinic and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Scott was born on Feb. 10, 1962 in Atchison, KS the son of Jerry E. and Betty (Otte) Jamison. He graduated from McLean High School, McLean, VA in 1980. Scott as a child had written articles for the newspaper. He had worked as a realtor for a real estate company. Scott enjoyed painting, sculpting, gardening, traveling, working with wood, carving, and politics.

He was married to Mallika Krishnaswamy for twenty five years. She survives in Senior Village, Atchison, KS. Additional survivors include his mother and step-father, Betty (Tom) Sowers, Atchison, KS., two brothers, Mark Jamison, Goddard, KS., and Chris Jamison, Helena, MT, three sisters, Tarryn Jamison, Boulder, CO, Kim (Mark) Williford, Broomfield, CO, and Robin Jamison, Westminster, CO and numerous nieces and nephews. His father, Jerry Jamison preceded him in death.
