Obituary for Eleanor J. Niemann (Andrews)
Eleanor J. Niemann, 86, of Atchison, KS, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Medicalodge of Atchison.
A private family burial of cremains will at a later date at Alderson Cemetery, Good Intent, KS. Memorials are suggested to St. Croix Hospice and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.beckerdyer.com.
Eleanor was born May 20, 1929 in Atchison, KS the daughter of LeRoy and Laura (Sloman) Andrews. She was a sewing machine operator for Atchison Leather Products. Eleanor was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Eleanor married James Morris they later divorced. She married Herman Pankey and he preceded her in death in 1978. Eleanor then married Jr. Niemann and they later divorced. Survivors include; two sons; Edward (Susan) Morris, Gaithersburg, MD, Kenneth (LouAnn) Morris, Oxford, AL, two daughters; Jimmye (Ken) Saunders, Paducah, KY, Barb (Bill) Piper, Lancaster, KS, a sister Kay Halling, Vacaville, CA and ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother; Donald Andrews, and a sister, Virginia Albers.
